SBT 認定取得に向けたコミットメントレターの提出


アジア航測株式会社（本社：東京都新宿区、代表取締役社長 畠山 仁、以下「当社」）は、パリ協定
が定める目標に科学的に整合する温室効果ガスの排出削減目標「Science Based Targets（サイエンス・
ベースド・ターゲット、以下 SBT※1）」を認定する機関「SBT イニシアティブ（以下 SBTi）※2」に対
してコミットメントレターを提出し、2 年以内に SBT 認定取得を目指すことを表明しました。


当社は、2020 年 10 月に策定した中期経営計画「明日を共創（つく）る」において、全ての施策は、
「コンプライアンス経営」と「SDGs 経営」を前提として実施することを表明しています。SDGs 経営
において、脱炭素社会への移行に向けた貢献については、環境省の認定する「エコ・ファースト」の約
束に重要な取り組みの一つとして掲げ、自社航空機へのバイオジェット燃料の利用や、再生可能エネル
ギーの導入・促進に向けた支援等について取り組んできました。また、当社の事業由来の温室効果ガス
排出量の算定に当たっては、第三者検証を受けながら GHG プロトコル水準で経営管理に取り組んでい
ます。
当社は今後も、地球規模で進行する気候変動等が及ぼす社会経済への影響や不確実な世の中に対して、
空間情報コンサルタントとして常に明日から未来を見定め、SX の視点をもって企業の持続性やリスク
を把握し企業経営のレジリエンスを高めながら、安心・安全で持続可能な社会づくりに貢献いたします。

Asia Air Survey Commits to Science Based Targets Initiative


Tokyo, Japan, November 21, 2022.Asia Air Survey (AAS) has signed its commitment letter to the
SBT Initiative (SBTi) ※1with Science Based Targets (SBT) ※2for greenhouse gas emission reduction
targets that are scientifically consistent with the targets set by the Paris Agreement, and
announced our intention to obtain SBT certification within two years.


AAS declares on the medium term business plan, released in October 2020 that we do all our
businesses with regarding "Compliance Management" and "SDGs Management".


In our SDGs management, we regard contribution to achieve the carbon-neutral society as one of
the important actions to promote the “Eco-First Program”, which is launched by the Ministry of the
Environment, and we have been working on the use of bio-jet fuel for our aircraft and supporting
for the development of new renewable energy.


Calculation of our company’s business-derived GHG emissions has verified by the third-party, and
we keep up effort of satisfying the GHG protocol standard.


As a geospatial survey consultant, we always foresee the future and takes actions in response to
the social and economic impact of global climate change and the uncertainties of the world.
We keep contributing to the creation of a safe, secure, and sustainable society, while considering
corporate sustainability and risk, with SX （Sustainability Transformation）approach, and to
enhance the resilience of corporate management.
