Resumption of Operations at Our US Subsidiary



As we announced on August 14, 2020, our consolidated subsidiary FREUND-VECTOR CORPORATION in
Iowa, USA, was damaged by the storm Derecho that hit the Midwestern United States, and we have
suspended operations. As of now, we have resumed some operations due to subsequent restoration
work.


We will continue to scrutinize the damage amount of the factory building and some equipment, and the
impact on business performance due to the suspension of operations. If it becomes clear that it will have
a significant impact on our business performance, we will notify you immediately.
