当社の連結子会社である株式会社オー・エル・エム（本社：東京都世田谷区 代表取締役社長 奥野聡敏
以下、OLM）は、OLM ASIA SDN BHD（本社：マレーシアCyberjaya 代表取締役社長 北嶋 秀彦 以下、
OLM Asia）を設立しましたのでお知らせいたします。

OLM Asiaはマレーシア初の2Dアニメスタジオになります。事業内容としてはデジタル作画による「動画」
「仕上げ」業務を中心に、将来的には専門性の高い高度な業務を行い、ワンストップでアニメーション制作が
可能なスタジオを目指します。

日本におけるアニメ市場はさらに拡大しており、OLM内の制作受注数も年々増加しております。一方で日
本のアニメーション業界は深刻な人材不足の問題に直面しており、今後は更なる加速が予想されています。

OLM Asiaはマレーシア・デジタルエコノミー公社（MDEC *1）の支援のもと、アジアのハブであるマレーシ
ア、Cyberjaya地区に制作拠点を設立しました。アニメ制作ラインのキャパシティ拡大を図るとともに、現地に
おいてOLMで培ったアニメーション制作研修を実施し、高度人材を育成します。そして、アジアにおけるアニ
メーション制作の一大拠点になるよう積極的に推進します。

を担う「MSC マレーシア」計画を推進・実行するために設立されたマレーシア通信・マルチメディア省傘下の政府機関です。

The Release of OLM Asia
OLM Asia: The first 2D ANIME Studio to be established and opened in Malaysia


OLM Asia SDN BHD (Head office: Malaysia Cyberjaya, President and CEO: Hidehiko Kitajima) is
established by OLM, Inc. (Head office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Toshiaki Okuno, ) on 11th Dec. 2017.

It is the first 2D Japanese animation (ANIME) studio in Malaysia. The main business of our company is the
digital creation of animation, including digital painting and in-between. We will grow talented people and
develop our business to achieve challenging and high-quality projects, providing a one-stop shop for ANIME
production in Asia.

ANIME market in Japan is increasing continuously, and the number of ANIME produced at OLM is also
increasing every year. However, considering the limited human resource in ANIME industry, we need to
expand internationally. OLM Asia has been established at the center of Asia in Malaysia Cyberjaya with the
support of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).

With our training program for “Japanese Traditional” ANIME production, we will get the high potential for
creative talent In Malaysia to the next level. We will expand our production capacity to answer local and
global demand for Japanese animation. OLM Asia is the future hub of APAC ANIME production.
