"Working Hours Visualization Tool" Utilized to Examine Productivity
Enhancements for Nursing Care in "JS Model Project for the Introduction of
Nursing Care ICT"

The “Working Hours Visualization Tool (Time Study Tool)” offered by Kanamic Network Co., Ltd. (head
office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Takuma Yamamoto; hereinafter, the
“Company”) was utilized in the “JS Model Project for the Introduction of Nursing Care ICT (hereinafter, the
“Project”)” carried out by the Japanese Council of Senior Citizens Welfare Service (location: Chiyoda-ku,
Tokyo; Chairperson: Akira Hiraishi; hereinafter, “JS”) between September 2021 and August 2022.
The Company will apply the expertise gained through “Kanamic cloud services” to make further
contributions to the dissemination and promotion of AI, IoT, and big data in the nursing care field.

■ Details of the system
The Working Hours Visualization Tool (Time Study Tool) developed by the Company is a cloud-based
service that facilitates easy measurement for time studies, an analysis method for accurately measuring
hours of work, with a tablet or smartphone. Typically, in a time study, several task cycles are observed to
determine how long it takes to accomplish that task. Stopwatches are generally used for observing time, but
since this method requires significant effort and labor, the Company has provided a cloud-based time study
survey tool to make this process more efficient. In addition, operational analysis is automatically aggregated,
making it easy to visualize operations where reductions should be made, forming the basis for productivity
improvement. In the future, as part of the promotion of nursing care DX, the Company plans to begin selling
this service as a tool for improving productivity by efficiently developing an understanding of time studies
in the frontline operations of each business site.

■ Future outlook
The impact on the Company's financial results for the current fiscal year is expected to be negligible, but
in the event that it becomes clear there will be a material impact on future results, the relevant information
will be immediately disclosed.

■ Other
(1) Overview of the JS Model Project for the Introduction of Nursing Care ICT
The purpose of the Project is to clarify how to efficiently and effectively introduce ICT devices in
frontline nursing care operations and establish a “JS model for the introduction of nursing care ICT,” by
actually introducing ICT devices at eight demonstration model facilities (intensive care homes for the
elderly) across Japan, and measuring the effects through time studies of nursing care operations before
and after the introduction (ultimately, the aim is to disseminate this technology to nursing care facilities
and to expand efforts to improve productivity through the introduction of ICT devices in frontline
nursing care operations).
